Animals experience emotions just as we do, however it is important not to attribute human characteristics to their challenges.  Fear, trauma and territorial issues are more likely explanations for difficult behaviour than hatred, jealousy or dominance.  In fact the whole idea of teaching your dog that they are not dominant in your “family pack” is based on flawed and outdated science – your dog understands very clearly that you are not a dog and does not regard you as a member of their pack!

Sadly, particularly post Covid, many pets are struggling with separation anxiety and poor socialisation, both with other animals and people outside their household.  This is the type of situation in which the Bach remedies can be extremely effective.

Bach Foundation Registered Animal Practitioners (BFRAPs) suggest remedies solely on the basis of the apparent emotional state of the animal and no attempt will be made to diagnose, treat or prescribe for any condition falling under the scope of veterinary practice.

UK law requires that before accepting an animal consultation, I will need a referral from your vet.  This is to protect your beloved pet and ensure that any ailment or injury is diagnosed and treated properly.  I can email a letter from The Bach Centre directly to your vet to support your request for a referral.

Bach for Animals

What Happens in a Consultation?

I work online. During a consultation I will ask about your pet’s history and the issues which have brought you to me.  If I am unable to observe the animal during the consultation, I may ask you to send video footage afterwards.

The remedies will not affect any medication or therapy which has been prescribed for your pet.  The drops can be administered easily, either in their water bowl, on their food (if the water bowl is shared with another animal) or on a treat.

Your Investment

Dr Bach wanted his healing system to be accessible and affordable; this is reflected in my fee of £33 per consultation, which typically lasts around an hour.  The remedies are easily obtainable from high street and online retailers at around £8 each and a bottle will last for the six weeks between initial consultation and suggested follow-up.

The more significant part of your investment though, will be an open-hearted commitment to working with the remedies, to support your beloved pet.  I will probably suggest some remedies for you too; our pets are very attuned to our energy and will be affected if, for example, we are feeling anxious or frustrated by their behaviour.

Request the Bach Centre Referral Letter to be sent to your vet.  Please include your pet’s details and your vet’s email address in your contact form.
